Joan Mayfield Bryant

Joan has been an artist for 63 years and has been with the Ocala Art Group since 1985.
Her father encouraged her to develop her talent in art and she enjoys showing the beauty of God's creation through her artwork. Joan teaches from her studio in the Ocala National Forest.
Acrylic is Joan's art preference. It is no surprise then that her favorite artists are Jack Thursby and Patricia Holcomb who also specialize in acrylics. Joan would love to see more art shows available for the Ocala Art Group members and would also like to see children's work included. Her love for the arts are extended to us all with her philosophy, "If you feel the desire to do it, you can!"

Ramberto Rodriguez
Ramberto Rodriguez creates his artwork in water color, acrylic, and oil paint. His mother and art teachers in elementary school encouraged and inspired him on his path to becoming an artist. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is Ramberto's favorite museum. It is this museum that hosted an exhibition of Frederic E. Church in the 1900's after the artists death. Frederic Church is also this Ocala Artist's favorite artist and you can see Church's influence in Ramberto's work as both artists possess the belief that the landscapes of America demonstrates the drama and heroism of our country.
